Pay Rate: Starting at $21.33

What to expect as a Detention Center Security Officer

• Ensure the protection, custody, and control of detained persons.
• Assist and work alongside law-enforcement agencies to ensure safe and secure transport of detainees.
• Recording detainee admissions and discharges.
• Monitoring and performing regular searches of cells, detainees, and the property.
• Enforce the regulations in effect at your client\'s premises
• Write daily reports and incident reports efficiently and effectively.

Successful Candidate have the Following

• Applicants must be Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens.
• BC Security Licence
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 is considered an asset.
• Advanced Security Training (AST) is considered an asset.
• Transport Security Clearance (TSC), RAIC, and Class 4 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license are considered an asset.
• Bilingual (French and English) an asset
