What does a Car Detailer do?

A car detailer will spend most of their days interacting with clients and cleaning cars or different vehicles. A car detailer might spend part of the day cleaning the exterior of the cars and the other part of the day working on the interior of the cars. They must take special care of what products they use for the different areas they are cleaning to make sure nothing is damaged during the cleaning. They might also work with other car detailers, so they should be good at teamwork.

Car Detailer Skills and Qualifications:

A successful car detailer will have the following skills and qualifications:

1. Knowledge of different cleaning products, materials and tools,

2. Customer service skills including written and oral communication,

3.Ability to estimate timing of a job,

4. Knowledge of safety measures needed when using cleaning products.

Car Detailer Experience Requirements:

A successful candidate for a car detailer should have experience cleaning a cars exterior and interior. They should have customer service experience and communicate well with clients from all walks of life. A car detailer should also have experience working with cleaning products and should be able to keep a safe work environment.
