Job Title: Detailer / Cleaning Specialist (buses)

Our team is looking for individuals who have a positive attitude and take pride in their work. The primary duty is to provide high standards of cleanliness and sanitation with company vehicles and throughout the shop facility, with an emphasis on quality control, health and safety & the goal to exceed client expectations. Great opportunity for someone looking for occasional weekend work.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Basic understanding of equipment and chemicals used in cleaning. Ability to work independently, at various hours, primarily weekends and/or nights Willing and able to accept verbal and written direction, and provide feedback Able to cope with the physical demands of the job Attention to detail Some previous experience in institutional or commercial cleaning considered an asset Valid G Driver's License with reliable personal transportation Z endorsement (air brakes) would be a plus.
GENERAL DUTIES:

Mix various cleaning products, as directed without supervision Communicate on a regular basis with the Shop manager regarding cleaning and coach issues/observations Clean and disinfect company vehicles (motorcoaches) after excursions, including floors, windows, garbage removal and handling, and seat upholstery as needed. Clean and disinfect other areas on site by special request, as determined Keep cleaning supplies in excellent working order Work in compliance with the Occupational Health And Safety Act, applicable regulations and all organizational health and safety requirements and procedures to ensure the health and safety of staff/colleagues and clients Notify supervisors concerning the need for major repairs Provide feedback for maintenance of supplies inventory Attend, participate in team/staff meetings, and all-staff meetings as required Other duties, as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Standing, bending, crouching, kneeling is required while performing duties of this job, as well as the use of hands/fingers/arms to handle objects or tools or reach on occasion. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Starting rate of pay is $22 per hour. Position will be primarily shifts on weekends and nights.
