Job Title: Designer & Marketing Specialist
Location: Woodbridge, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Office (Monday to Friday)
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
Travel Requirement: 2-3 trips per year to the USA
Passport Requirement: Valid passport required
About the Role
Our client a leading Canadian manufacturer of fine upholstered furniture located in Woodbridge, Ontario is seeking a creative and versatile Designer & Marketing Specialist to join their team full-time. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design and a strategic mindset for marketing. You will be responsible for marketing, designing and collaborating with the product development team. Additional day-to-day tasks include designing marketing materials, ensuring displays are aligned with the company's brand aesthetics, and staying updated with the latest design trends.
This is a fully in-office position, and occasional travel to the U.S. (2-3 times per year) is required for events, meetings, or brand activations.
Key Responsibilities
Design (Graphic & Digital):

• Create compelling visual content for digital and print (e.g., brochures, social media graphics, ads, email campaigns, presentations)
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative assets
• Design marketing collateral for events, trade shows, and product launches
• Collaborate with internal teams on layout and branding for proposals, packaging, and promotional materials

Marketing:

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital platforms (social media, email, website, etc.)
• Manage and grow social media presence and engagement
• Coordinate marketing calendars, promotions, and content schedules
• Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize campaigns
• Assist in planning and executing marketing-related travel/events in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in design and marketing
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and Microsoft Office
• Experience with social media platforms, email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact), and CMS platforms
• Strong understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and digital trends
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Must hold a valid passport and be legally eligible to travel to the USA
• Experience in product-based or B2B marketing is an asset
