As Deputy Fire Chief, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Fire Chief in overseeing all aspects of fire department operations, including emergency response, fire prevention awareness, personnel training and management, and community engagement. Additionally, you will fulfill the duties of a 24-hour duty officer on a rotational basis, ensuring readiness to respond to emergencies at any time.As Deputy Fire Chief, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community of Edson, working tirelessly to uphold the highest standards of fire and emergency management services.The CandidateYou embody a unique blend of leadership, expertise, and resilience essential to the efficient and effective operation of a fire department. With an unwavering commitment to public safety, you exemplify strong communication skills and are adept at coordinating firefighting personnel and other emergency responders. Moreover, you foster a culture of teamwork and professionalism, inspiring confidence and unity within the department, as well as the community.Requirements:What do we offer?CompensationThe wage range for this position is $73,700 to $90,300 per year, however, this is negotiable for the right candidate. Candidate placement within the range during the first six months on the job is dependent on experience.BenefitsThis position also offers a robust benefits package, which includes:
