Clarke South Enviro Depot (28 Clarke South Road) Clarke North Enviro Depot (21462 Clarke Road North)

Position:

Part-Time Seasonal Contract (25 hours) (must have availability to work weekends)

Hourly Rate:

$17.20

Hours of Availability:

Monday to Friday 10am - 7pm, Saturday 8am - 5pm and Sunday 11am - 5pm

Seasonal Contract:

July 2025 - December 2025

Candidate must have access to vehicle or a reliable ride as they will need to travel to different locations from time to time.

Job Summary

As a Depot Attendant, your key responsibilities are to ensure residents are welcomed at our facility and are given directions as to where they are to unload their materials. The Depot Attendant is to assess each load, collect payment and make sure the clients are directed to the appropriate area in the yard to dispose of their materials. The Depot Attendant will also need to ensure customer safety at all times.

Qualifications, Skills & Responsibilities

Must enjoy working outdoors, in all weather conditions Must pass a criminal background check A minimum of two years of proven customer service experience Solid understanding of client service practices and techniques Demonstrated a high level of professionalism, personal integrity, and strong work ethic High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed Ability to work individual as well as part of a team Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills Confident, consistent, and decisive personality Excellent communication written and verbal skills Resourceful and adapts quickly to changing situations Enforcement of safety rules and is always aware of clients and surroundings

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, this position is regularly exposed to moving vehicles, both small and large, odors and airborne particles. The will be exposed to varying weather conditions. The noise level in the environment is medium too high. Must enjoy working outdoors rain or shine, hot or cold.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand for long periods of time Manually perform daily tasks (pick up materials, sweep, look out for customers etc,) Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Unload trailers from time to time Regularly required to lift 51 pounds
