Deposit Support Assistant

What does a Deposit Support Assistant do?
Deposit Support Assistants provide day-to-day administrative support, providing efficient and effective service delivery of Synergy's products and services, to all our branch locations.
In this position, you will:
Respond to requests and inquiries received via email, phone and our deposit support portal ticketing system.
Perform administrative functions related to payment services, accounts, and transactions
Establish new or edit existing demand, non-registered and registered deposit accounts.
Create/troubleshoot existing digital payment services as well as provide elevated support for digital channels.
Complete quality assurance and imaging for documentation and risk scoring for new memberships.
Collaborate with internal teams to execute on departmental and organizational initiatives.
Ensure all activities are in compliance with relevant legislation, regulation, policies and procedures.
What you need for this role:
Grade 12 diploma with one to three years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with deposit related products and services in a financial service setting, would be considered an asset.
Tech savviness and comfort working with a variety of software programs including MS Office Suite.
Attention to detail and strong analysis skills.
Strong collaboration skills to ensure the needs of our team and members are met.
Demonstrate openness and innovation; looking for ways to improve and simplify work processes.
A desire for continuous learning and growth.
Participate fully as a member of the team, supporting a positive work environment.

More details:
Hours:
Permanent full-time, 37.5 hours weekly. Includes a Saturday rotation schedule, once trained.
Salary Grade:
$45,800 - $57,200 annually
Location
: Flexible; may work out of any of our current branch locations, with manager approval. Travel to Lloydminster or Kindersley may be required for the purposes of training, for 2 - 3 weeks. Travel for other Synergy business may also be required.
