Reporting to the Executive Director, Continuing Studies, this position is responsible for leadership, management, coordination and successful delivery of high quality and innovative education and training programs. These include the Business and Professional training, Industry First Aid and Safety Training, Community interest courses and STEM Youth Programming. The position will also provide strategic direction for microcredentialling at the and tactical leadership in service delivery for the division.

As a customer/student-centric leader of this department, you will provide vision and leadership for coordinated education and training programs to respond to the business, industry, and community needs. To do so, candidates must have a minimum demonstrated experience in successfully managing and coordinating programs and people in a cross-cultural environment. This experience includes: working with internal and external stakeholders such as senior leadership, businesses, faculty, staff from all campuses, governmental and non-governmental organizations; experience in facilitation, program management, determining business processes, making recommendations, and then successful planning and executing of those projects or processes. Finally, candidates will have current knowledge of instructional methods and technologies, and knowledge of principles of adult education, business/industry and non-academic delivery trends and microcredentialling. Using this knowledge, candidates will have demonstrated experience leading and inspiring teams through promotion of and commitment to scheduling professional development courses and programs in relevant areas, with service excellence and leadership.
