Who You Are:
A mature and driven team player, with a proven track record of customer service excellence. You thrive in fast-paced environments, and are easily able to multitask helping customers with store maintenance activities such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping.
What You'll Do:
Meet, greet and thank customers and provide friendly, informed service to them.
Respond to and handle customer inquiries, requests and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.
Keep up to date with in-store promotions, deals, new products, and product locations.
Ensure that your department is customer ready at all times by participating in department tasks such as stocking and facing.
What You'll Need:
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Basic math and typing skills.
Comfort in learning or experience with retail computer systems and tools.
Ability to take direction and complete tasks in a team setting, or individually.
Ability to consistently provide professional customer service, including in situations of conflicts.
Strong belief in the Canadian Tire values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
Positive attitude, punctuality and solid work ethic.

Successful candidates will be able to work a variable schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Frequent lifting of variably weighted merchandise is a regular part of the working duties.
