We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our newly opened dynamic Denture office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. This role requires proficiency in administrative tasks, familiarity with electronic medical records, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management:
Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in/check-out process
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Handle phone inquiries and respond to emails
Patient Care Support:
Assist with patient intake and record-keeping
Provide chairside assistance during consultations and minor procedures
Educate patients on denture care and aftercare
Administrative Duties:
Manage patient files and maintain accurate records
Process payments and assist with insurance claims (if applicable)
Help maintain a clean and organized clinic environment
Clinical Assistance:
Prepare armamentarium and dental chair before and after treatment
Assist Denturist with clinical procedures
Disinfect treatment room after each patient.
Dental Lab Assistance
:
Perform lab works with direction from Denturist such as Pouring model, mounting dental case etc.
Pumicing and polishing model.
Occasionally, will perform denture processing including flasking, deflasking and injection of case under denturist's supervision
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a
dental clinic
or healthcare setting (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Friendly and compassionate attitude towards patients
Basic computer skills for scheduling and record-keeping
