Overview

Owner operated dental practice looking for a part time receptionist. Our ideal days would be Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday but we may consider Tuesday to Thursday. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the dental office and creating a welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures. Schedule and confirm appointments using electronic medical records systems. Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Handle incoming calls, addressing inquiries, and directing calls to appropriate staff members. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently. Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and readily available. Assist with insurance verification and provide necessary documentation to patients. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.

Skills

MUST HAVE minimum 3 years previous dental reception experience working in BC

Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour
