We are seeking a Dental Receptionist who also has experience in dental assisting to support both the front desk and clinical workflow when needed.
Position Overview
The Dental Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and positive experience for every patient. This hybrid skillset is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative duties but can also step in to assist clinically when required.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Administrative
Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes
Answer phones, manage emails, and handle appointment scheduling
Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and provide accurate estimates
Collect payments and manage daily financial reconciliation
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Coordinate recall and follow-up appointments
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth clinic flow
Clinical Support (as needed)
Assist chairside during procedures when required
Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain clinical cleanliness
Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
Support the dentist and clinical team to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a dental receptionist
Previous experience as a dental assistant (Level I or Level II)
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, treatment codes, and clinical workflow
Experience with dental software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm during busy periods
Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude

Pay: $26.00-$33.00 per hour

Experience:
Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Certified Dental Assistant (required)
