Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist for a Dental Specialty clinic with potential for advancement and growth. As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service to patients while helping to maintain the efficient day-to-day operations of the dental practice. This role is essential to our practice, as you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a crucial part in ensuring a positive patient experience. Tracker practice management is an asset.
Monday - Friday
Hours of work are between 8am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and check in patients upon arrival at the dental clinic
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using the electronic medical records system
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient questions or concerns in a courteous manner
Collect and accurately update patient records, including medical histories, consent forms, and insurance information
Verify insurance eligibility and assist with the submission and follow-up of insurance claims
Process patient payments and support billing-related tasks
Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable
Communicate and coordinate effectively with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow
Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a positive patient experience
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is an asset
Proficiency with electronic records systems; experience with Tracker is considered a plus
Strong administrative abilities, including accurate data entry and thorough record management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
Comfortable operating multi-line phone systems and handling calls with professionalism
