We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice Midtown Smiles in beautiful Belmont Village. Your expertise in dental administrative support, insurance verification, and dental terminology will help facilitate seamless operations and foster positive patient relationships. Duties



Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression for all visitors and callers Manage appointment scheduling using Tracker dental practice management software , ensuring optimal clinic flow Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing inquiries and predeterminations Collect payments, perform medical collections when necessary, and maintain accurate financial records Assist with intake procedures by gathering patient information, updating medical histories, and explaining treatment plans Maintain organized dental records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and review documentation for accuracy Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette while managing appointment confirmations and patient inquiries Support office management tasks such as filing, and managing dental records Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and ensure timely patient care delivery Conduct insurance verification processes and other billing procedures Assist with documentation review related to care plans and treatment documentation for accuracy and completeness

Skills



Prior experience of 5 years as a dental receptionist Extensive experience with Tracker dental office management software is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dental terminology and health information management standards including HIPAA compliance Proven ability in insurance verification, dental billing, collections, and understanding of ODSP, OW and CDCP processes Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone manner and effective communication abilities preferred Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), filing, and data entry Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills for managing medical records, documentation review, intake procedures, and office administrative support

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
