We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental office environment. This role requires proficiency in phone systems, familiarity with medical and dental terminology, and experience with electronic medical and dental records.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for dental providers.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively.
Maintain patient records accurately using Abeldent or similar software.
Process patient insurance claims and verify coverage details.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining the front desk area.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Assist in managing inventory of office supplies and dental materials as needed.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is preferred.
Familiarity with Abeldent systems is advantageous.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for patient interactions.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in administrative tasks and front desk operations is required.
