Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires proficiency in electronic medical records and familiarity with dental terminology, ensuring smooth communication between patients and the dental team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
• Schedule appointments efficiently using maxident dental software
• Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems.
• Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
• Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
• Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming at all times.
• Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate patient care and office operations.
• Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to dental procedures to assist patients effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental office is an asset
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly maxident, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is a plus.
• Proficiency in using phone systems and standard office equipment is essential.
• Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are required.
