Dental Hygienist

to join our friendly and professional dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional preventive and clinical care while helping our patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. This role requires a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients of all ages. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive dental care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required. Document patient care, charting, and treatment plans accurately using

Dentrix

software. Ensure smooth patient flow and deliver an outstanding patient experience at every visit. Collaborate closely with dentists and team members to provide comprehensive care Adhere to sterilization protocols and maintain compliance with all

infection control and safety standards

. Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a

Dental Hygienist

in Ontario. Proficiency in

Dentrix

software (or willingness to learn). Understanding of dental terminology to discuss treatment with patients. Experience in

dental assisting

is an asset. Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to outstanding patient care. Ability to work with an office with processes and systems to support smooth daily operations.
