As an intern, you will gain real-world exposure to a dental office environment, contribute to essential office tasks, and observe our experienced dental hygienists in action as you prepare for your professional career.

Key Responsibilities:

Shadow and Learn: Observe our registered dental hygienists as they provide patient care, learn advanced preventive dentistry techniques, and understand the importance of patient education. Assist with Office Operations: Support smooth clinic flow by helping organize patient records, preparing treatment rooms, and setting up materials for upcoming appointments. Engage with Patients: Interact with patients to answer questions, provide support, and help them feel comfortable during their visit. Professional Development: Gain exposure to office protocols, patient care strategies, and the latest practices in dental hygiene. Team Collaboration: Work alongside a friendly, experienced team, and be part of our positive patient-focused office culture.

Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a dental hygiene program (preference will be given to applicants graduating in 2026). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interest in oral health and preventive care. A desire to learn and grow in a professional, clinical setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for patient care.

Additional Information:

This is a casual paid internship with part-time hours. Weekly hours are flexible (approximately 8-10 hours per week, with additional opportunities during holidays and summer months) and will be coordinated around the student's academic commitments.
