Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as necessary. Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning alongside dentists. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software. Provide support in orthodontic procedures when required. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Foster positive relationships with patients, providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ontario (CDHO registration required). Experience in a dental office setting preferred; familiarity with ABELDent is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve our diverse patient base. Experience or interest in pediatrics is an advantage for working with younger patients. Strong customer service skills to enhance patient experience and satisfaction. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 36 per week
