We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assess patients' oral health and document findings in the patient management system.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Provide support in orthodontic treatments as needed, especially for pediatric patients.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience with Cleardent software is preferred.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
Previous dental office experience is highly desirable, along with strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
