Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong commitment to patient comfort and a passion for promoting dental health. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the dental office.

We are primarily looking for a RDH that would like to work 1 Saturday per month from 8am to 3pm with the opportunity to work more hours if desired filling in for summer holidays while team members are off.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in our Curve system. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Foster positive relationships with patients through excellent customer service and communication skills.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in pediatrics being a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Must be in good standing with CDHO.
