Job Description

Apple Wellness Dental is looking to add a registered dental hygienist (RDH) to our team! We are looking for someone fun, outgoing and motivated for our family-oriented dental office. The ideal candidate will have a good work ethic, a passion for dental care, and be compassionate towards all their patients. The candidate also needs to be detail-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Registered RDH (CRDHA) Local Anaesthetic (an asset) 1 year of dental experience is preferred, but not required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A friendly, positive demeanor with patients and dental team members One Saturday a month One evening a week (till 7 pm) Eagerness to help the practice grow Days are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with 1-2 Saturdays a month.
Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth Take dental x-rays Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans

This position is to cover a medical leave for one year, with a high likelihood of becoming permanent.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $47.00-$62.00 per hour
