Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role requires expertise in various dental procedures and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, including children. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Educate patients on oral health and preventive care practices. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure high-quality patient care. Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Experience in pediatrics is a plus, with the ability to manage young patients effectively. Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for dental applications is advantageous. Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Previous experience working in a dental office setting preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
