Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when needed Manage patient records efficiently using dental software Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients Ensure sterilization and cleanliness of dental tools and work areas Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation for patient charts Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment plans

Requirements

Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures Proficiency with dental management software Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Experience with CAD systems for imaging or modeling is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Certification or training in dental assisting preferred but not required; on-the-job training available for qualified candidates Prior experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
