Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Dental Assistant Level 2
to join our dedicated dental team. The ideal candidate will provide a high level of clinical and administrative support, assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth and efficient clinic environment.Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assistance:
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and crowns.Patient Care:
Prepare patients for treatment, take medical histories, and provide post-procedure instructions.Infection Control:
Ensure sterilization and infection control protocols are strictly followed for all instruments and equipment.Radiography:
Take X-rays as needed, following safety protocols.Dental Procedures:
Assist with dental impressions, placing temporary fillings, fluoride treatments.Inventory Management:
Monitor dental supplies and ensure the office is well-stocked.Patient Education:
Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare instructions.Qualifications:
Completion of a recognized
Dental Assistant Level 2
qualification.Radiology certification
HARP is a must have Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills with patients and the dental team. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of Abeldent dental software
for scheduling and record management is a plus.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends
