We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when necessary, including handling patient inquiries. Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Stay updated on medical terminology and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technologies relevant to dental practices.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with a strong understanding of dental assisting practice. Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment. Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics will be considered an asset. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 per week
