Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where clinical skills and patient communication are highly valued. Prior experience with dental software such as Open Dental, as well as HARP certificate, will be considered advantageous.

Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to maintain a sterile environment Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry Take dental radiographs using CAD when necessary Manage patient records using dental management software such as Open Dental Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and ensure compliance with health regulations Assist in the fabrication of dental appliances or models as needed Support the overall workflow of the clinic by ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly

Skills

Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with certification or relevant training in dental procedures Experience with dental management software including Open Dental Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience as a dental assistant is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
