Southpoint Periodontics is a modern, busy periodontal practice in Tecumseh, Ontario. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Dental Assistant to join our growing team in a permanent, 4 days/week position. Applicants should be comfortable in a surgical setting; however, experience with periodontal therapy and dental implants is not required. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth within a practice committed to high-quality patient care. No evenings or weekends.
Requirements / Responsibilities:
1) Certified Dental Assistant
2) HARP certification
3) Assist in a variety of periodontal and dental implant procedures
4) Familiarity with the use of dental software
5) Ability to multi-task while working effectively in a team environment
6) Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions for periodontal procedures
7) Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with IPAC guidelines
8) Provide front desk support as needed, including patient reception, scheduling and treatment planning

Pay: $23.00-$31.00 per hour
