Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide high-quality patient care by preparing patients for treatments, taking dental radiographs, and ensuring their comfort throughout procedures. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Sterilise dental instruments and equipment according to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, fostering positive relationships through effective communication. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations, including scheduling appointments and managing inventory of dental supplies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental assistant role is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. A background in dental assistantMing. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with patients and team members. Strong IT skills are beneficial for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational skills are essential for maintaining an efficient workflow within the practice.
