Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant | Sterilization Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in both chairside duties and sterilization, ensuring that all dental instruments are properly sterilized and maintained, contributing to the safety and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical support to the dentist. Set up and tear down of treatment rooms. Take intraoral and panoramic radiographs, and patient photographs. Perform Trios scans. Adhere to infection control protocols through proper sterilization procedures. Assist both the dentist and hygienist during examination by entering notes in patient charts. Oversee supply inventory, restock as needed, and coordinate equipment maintenance. Perform additional duties as needed to support team
Qualifications
Experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred. HARP certification is advantageous. Experience with Dentrix is advantageous. Strong attention to detail, organizational and effective time management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff professionally.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 per week
