We offer on-the-job training in a supportive team environment, full tuition sponsorship for the CDA program (conditions apply), and the potential for long-term growth within the practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
Sterilize all dental instruments and equipment following proper protocols and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the records and consultation room
Operate and maintain sterilization equipment
Prepare and set up instrument trays for clinical procedures
Monitor and log sterilization cycles for accuracy and compliance
Maintain inventory of sterilization and infection control supplies, reporting low stock
Support clinical staff as needed, including light chairside assistance or room turnover
Ensure all infection prevention procedures follow local health authority regulations and best practices
Greet and welcome new patients with professionalism and warmth
Take diagnostic records including digital photographs and digital scans
Accurately chart and document findings for the orthodontist
Present proposed treatment plans to patients and/or parents, addressing basic questions and concerns
Coordinate start of treatment, including scheduling and financial arrangements
Maintain patient flow and communication between the clinical and administrative teams
Follow up with patients who are undecided or have pending treatment
Ensure proper documentation and upload of records into patient management software
Support administrative tasks such as insurance verification and correspondence when needed
Required skills & qualifications:
Proficiency in computer skills, a familiarity with orthodontic software (e.g., Dolphin, Ortho2, or equivalent) is an asset
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
