Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your dental assisting skills and technical knowledge to improve patient outcomes and experience. Prior experience with dental software such as AbelDent along with familiarity in orthodontics is highly desirable.

We are nestled in between Barrie, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and Creemore, which offer a wide range of skiing, beach days, great restaurants and small town charm. Only 15min from Collingwood and 40min from Barrie. We have great Dr's and a staff that feel like family.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment. Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments. Take dental radiographs using CAD technology Manage patient records accurately using dental software Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements

Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program. Prior experience with dental software platforms Knowledge of orthodontics procedures is a plus Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience working with CAD systems for digital imaging is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional attitude with excellent organizational skills. Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
