We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Duties

Assist dentists during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, and complex treatments Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients Ensure patient comfort and address their questions or concerns Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/out processes, including duties of a Dental Receptionist Assist with orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry as needed Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards

Skills

Proficiency with dental software including Dentrix, Epic, and CAD systems Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care Experience in dental assisting with certification or relevant training preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Familiarity with sterilization techniques and infection control standards Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and procedures in the dental field
