Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice and help deliver exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with no weekends required. Experience with Dentrix dental software is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment Assist the dentist during various procedures including pediatrics, and general dentistry Take dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary Provide excellent patient care Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient histories in compliance with medical terminology standards Support front desk duties as needed Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice Proficiency with dental software, Dentrix preferred Knowledge general dentistry procedures Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Certification or training in dental assisting is required
