Job Description

Our office is currently looking to fill a chairside Dental Assistant position. We are looking for someone who is willing to

relocate to Haileybury in Northern Ontario for at least one year. We are a small lakeside community, with a beautiful landscape and generally affordable housing.

You must have

HARP Certification, and be able to take dental radiographs - you must provide proof of certification. Any applicants who do not have the appropriate qualifications will not be considered for the position.

Full-time position, Monday to Thursday, with future potential for some Fridays.

Wages are based on years of working experience, education and certifications. Certified dental assistants, will be offered higher wages as they can perform a wider scope of duties. Those who have more years of experience will be offered higher wages.

To qualify for the position the candidate must be able to provide us with proof of following education or credentials:

HARP Certification (the certification required to take dental radiographs in Ontario)*

OR

A Level II Dental Assistant diploma from an Ontario Collegewith or without NDAEB Credentialing

OR

A Level II Dental Assistant diploma from an another province with HARP Certification,with or without NDAEB Credentialing

A relocation bonus will be paid over the last 3 months of your 1 year employment contract. For those wanting to stay longer than one year, a full-time employment contract can be provided.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 - 44 per week
