Office Background
We require a Dental Assistant for our Office in downtown Peterborough. This calm, well established office is highly professional and attracts top talent with very little turnover. We do a full range of treatment including sedation services one day per month. Our facilities are beautiful, newly renovated with a family like feel. Our team has worked together for many years with a female lead Dentist.
Hours
This full time position is for a Certified Dental Assistant Level 11. It is full time Monday through Thursday. Hours are 8:15 - 5:00, Fridays are 8:15 - 2 (2-3 Fridays a month)
Responsibilities
You would be principally responsible Dental assisting, x-rays and impression taking, sterilization and supporting the Dentist. You would maintain excellent, compliant documentation as well as dental supply management. You would support the hygienists through instrumentation sterilization, and perio probing when asked.
Work Experience
Preference would be given to an experienced dental assistant with strong IPAC knowledge. Ability to use a scanner is important. Training specific to our office would be provided but basic knowledge and qualifications are essential.
Education
This full time position is for a Certified Dental Assistant Level 11.
