Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Assist the dentist during various surgical procedures including, extractions, grafting, implants, sinus lifts, IV sedation and All on X (teeth in a day) Take dental radiographs (X-rays) when necessary. Manage patient records accurately using Abeldent Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to all safety guidelines. Assist with laboratory procedures related to crowns, bridges, or orthodontic appliances as required.

Experience

Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; certification in dental assisting is required Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Abeldent is a plus. Knowledge of surgical procedures is an asset Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial. Experience with CAD systems used for designing dental restorations or appliances is advantageous. Previous work supporting both clinical procedures and administrative functions will be considered an asset.
