We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Duties

Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies for procedures Assist dentists during various dental treatments, including orthodontics and pediatrics Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required Manage patient records accurately using dental management software such as Epic and Dentrix Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to safety standards Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist when needed Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions Assist with laboratory procedures related to crowns, bridges, or other restorations

Experience

Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with dental software systems such as Epic and Dentrix is a plus Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is advantageous Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry enhances patient communication Experience working with CAD technology for digital impressions or restorations is beneficial Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not required; ongoing professional development encouraged
