Dental Assistant (Level II preferred - Level I with HARP considered)

We are a modern, rapidly growing dental med spa offering comprehensive dental care alongside elevated esthetic services--including facials and laser hair removal. Conveniently located across from the Shops at Don Mills, our boutique practice features 4 operatories, a collaborative team of 3 dentists, and 2 hygienists.
We're currently seeking a dependable, personable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team.

Level II Dental Assistants with both NDAEB and HARP certification

Level I candidates with HARP

The Ideal Candidate Has
Strong English communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and critical-thinking abilities
A quick learning style with strong organizational skills
A positive attitude, professionalism, and a genuine passion for patient care
Minimum
6 months of dental assisting experience
(preferred)
Comfort assisting beyond chairside duties, including inventory management, basic equipment upkeep, and supporting smooth clinical operations
Experience with
MAXIDENT
(fully digital practice)

Key Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and welcome patients
Provide chairside assistance for a variety of procedures, including:
Restorative dentistry
Crowns (including fabrication of temporary crowns)
Exams
Endodontics
Extractions
Emergencies
Implant and bone graft procedures (future training provided)
Maintain a clean, organized sterilization area and ensure instruments are readily available
Adhere to all
RCDSO and PHO IPAC protocols
Pour, trim, and polish study models
Take and process dental radiographs
Apply fluoride as required
Perform basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinate repairs
Manage clinical inventory, including ordering and verifying supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all clinical areas (operatories, lab, sterilization)
Additional Responsibilities
Educate patients and respond to questions with professionalism and care
Assist with dental and medical emergencies (CPR certification required)
Support front desk operations when needed
Uphold the highest infection-control and safety standards
