Dental Assistant (Level II with NDAEB + HARP preferred, or Level I with HARP)

We are a rapidly growing dental med spa offering comprehensive dental care alongside esthetic services--including facials, OxyGeneo, and laser hair removal. Located directly across from Shops at Don Mills, our boutique practice features 3 operatories, 3 dentists, and 2 hygienists. We're looking for a reliable, warm, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our friendly, tight-knit team.

Preference will be given to Level II candidates with both HARP and NDAEB certification.

The ideal candidate has:

Strong English communication skills Great critical thinking and attention to detail Quick learning ability and strong organizational skills A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to help patients At least 6 months of dental assisting experience (preferred) Comfort with a wide range of assisting duties--not only chairside work, but also inventory, basic equipment maintenance, and keeping clinical operations running smoothly Familiarity with MAXIDENT (we are fully digital)

Main Responsibilities

Set up rooms and provide chairside assisting for a range of procedures including: Restorative Crowns (including fabricating temporary crowns) Exams Endodontics Extractions Emergencies Implant and bone graft procedures (in the future) Maintain a clean, organized sterilization area and ensure instruments are available for the team Follow all RCDSO and PHO IPAC protocols Prepare treatment rooms and welcome patients Pour, trim, and polish study models Perform basic equipment upkeep: preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, coordinating repairs, and monitoring equipment inventory Manage clinical supply inventory, including ordering and verifying deliveries Maintain, organize, and clean all clinical areas (operatories, lab, sterilization room)

Additional Duties

Provide information to patients and assist with their questions Take and process radiographs Apply fluoride as required Assist with dental and medical emergencies (must maintain CPR certification and knowledge of emergency protocols) Support front-desk tasks when needed Uphold infection-control standards to ensure patient and team safety
