Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to supporting both the dental team and our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared beforehand. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure effective communication and workflow. Assist with administrative tasks such as managing inventory, ordering supplies, and handling billing inquiries as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
