Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Record treatment information in patient records
Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions
Ensure infection control and sterilization protocols are followed
Maintain a clean and organized clinical area
Support front office duties as needed (scheduling, confirming appointments, etc.)
Qualifications
Dental Assistant Diploma from an accredited program
HARP certification (if in Ontario) or equivalent provincial certification
CPR certification (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience with Tracker or ClearDent is an asset
