Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient comfort and clinical excellence. Prior experience with dental software such as Akitu One, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology, will be highly valued.

Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols Assist the dentist during various procedures Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Akitu One Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit and address any concerns or questions Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations

Qualifications

Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental procedures and terminology HARP Certification is a must! Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Akitu One Knowledge of CAD systems used for digital impressions or restorations is a plus Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not required
