Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our prosthodontic specialist dental care team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality oral healthcare. Position is 3 days a week Tues-Wed-Thursday 7:30 to 4:00pm
Duties
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Strong communication skills
- Completed NDAEB
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
