Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Experience with dental software Abeldent, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology, will be highly valued. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies Take and develop dental radiographs Manage patient records efficiently using Abeldent Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort Maintain infection control standards and adhere to safety protocols Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/out processes as a dental receptionist when needed Educate patients on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Fluent in Vietnamese and/or Chinese is a plus, preferably Vietnamese.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures Familiarity with dental software such as Abeldent Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.70-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Secondary School (preferred)

Working in private clinic: 1 year (preferred)
