As a Dental Assistant with our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental treatments to our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about dentistry who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our office practices 4-handed dentistry, and our team operates with a 2 assistants to 1 dentist ratio, which helps reduce stress and allows us to focus on providing excellent care to every patient.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments Take and develop dental X-rays Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment Assist with lab tasks, including pouring impressions and trimming models Educate patients on proper oral care techniques

Requirements:

Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the Ontario Dental Assisting Association Certified with the National Dental Assistant Examining Board (N.D.A.E.B) HARP/CPR Certified IPAC certification is an asset, but not required WHMIS certification is an asset, but not required Previous dental assisting experience is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities Punctual, reliable, and professional Knowledge of dental and medical terminology Ability to maintain ethical and professional behavior at all times
