We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Manage patient records using Epic and Dentrix software systems Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks typical of a dental receptionist role Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, medical history, and treatment plans Support the team with general office duties to ensure efficient practice operations

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental or healthcare setting Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, medical terminology, and infection control standards Familiarity with dental software such as Epic and Dentrix; experience with CAD is a plus Experience working in orthodontics or pediatrics is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Certification or training in dental assisting is required; additional certifications in orthodontics or pediatrics are advantageous Demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care excellence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 27 per week
