Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using dental software. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment areas to ensure compliance with safety standards. Manage inventory of dental supplies, ordering as necessary to maintain stock levels. Provide support in orthodontic procedures, pediatric dentistry, and other specialized treatments as required. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and streamline office operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred. HARP certification is must. Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in dentistry. Proficiency in using dental software. Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems is an advantage but not mandatory. Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
