We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional support to both staff and clients. This position requires proficiency in managing various administrative tasks within a dental or medical office environment, including dealing with insurance and Account receivables, with a focus on enhancing patient experience and maintaining efficient office procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
Handle electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of patient information.
Assist with billing processes and insurance verification as needed.
Coordinate communication between patients and dental/medical staff to facilitate optimal care.
Maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies when necessary.
Support the implementation of office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Utilize software systems such as recall max or Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
Skills
Proficiency in phone systems and front desk operations within a dental or medical office setting.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is essential; familiarity with Dentrix is preferred.
Strong administrative skills, including data entry, organization, and multitasking capabilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address patient inquiries and office challenges efficiently.
