Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Administrative Assistant
to join our team. This position plays a key role in helping patients understand their treatment options, coordinating complex treatment plans, and managing financial and scheduling aspects with professionalism and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is organized, confident in patient communication, and experienced in dental administration.
Responsibilities
Explain treatment plans clearly and professionally to patients
Prepare financial estimates and coordinate payment arrangements
Schedule and organize complex, multi-step prosthodontic treatments
Verify insurance coverage and assist with pre-authorizations and claims
Communicate with referring offices, dental lab, and insurance companies as needed
Maintain accurate, confidential, and detailed patient records
Support the prosthodontist and clinical team with administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
Previous experience in a
dental office
required
Strong understanding of
dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes
Excellent communication, organization, and patient education skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software (we use Dentrix)
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented work ethic
